Canvas of Regret

In shadows deep, betrayal's cruel art,

A symphony of lies tore love apart.

Caught in the act, a dagger to trust,

Deceit's venom, ashes turned to dust.

Struggles unfold, a painful ballet,

The echoes of infidelity won't sway.

Moving on, a dance with ghosts,

Love's ruins linger, haunting boasts.

Through tears that fall like silent rain,

Scars of deception, an enduring pain.

Forgiveness sought, but harder to find,

In the wreckage of trust, a shattered bind.

A canvas painted in shades of regret,

Love's portrait tainted, a silhouette.

Yet, in healing's arms, a chance to be free,

To rediscover self and reclaim destiny.
